Byers' Choice LTD

For those of you unfamiliar with the Byers’ family story, here is a short overview. It is a remarkable American story of talent, ingenuity, hard work, attention to detail, and respect for quality.   In the late 1960’s, Joyce Byers started making what has come to be known as Byers’ Choice Carolers out of her desire to create holiday decorations that showed a respect for timeless traditions and her own memories of Christmas.

Now a family business, the Byers family work with their team of 80 trained artisans to create each Byers’ Choice Caroler with a unique appearance and handcrafted quality. Located in Chalfont, Pennsylvania (only ten miles from the Wooden Duck), the Byers’ family continues to handcraft those same creations that started out on the dining room table many years ago.  For over 40 years, the Wooden Duck has been one of America’s foremost retailers of Bob and Joyce Byers’ delightful Carolers.

Each artisan leaves a little bit of herself in every figure she touches. As many as ten people will work on one Byers’ Choice Caroler.
